In this video tutorial Michael Gray from Graywolf's SEO Blog explains how to avoid duplicate content in your wordpress blog. One technique is to deny certain sections from being spidered by search engines, for example the archive section. The information given can of course also be applied to other content management systems, such as Drupal or Joomla.
