SEO Expert Blog

Today is Drupal day on SEO Expert Blog. For me almost every day is Drupal day, since I work as a software developer and all Web projects of the company I work for have been Drupal projects during the last seven months. Still I am not sick of Drupal and thanks to the Drupal community, many common problems have already been solved either by Drupal core developers or those who develop contributed modules, including myself ;-)

UnSpun is a Web community project by Amazon I haven't heard of before today. Users can create topical lists on UnSpun, e.g. Sexiest Movies of All-Time, Sexiest Women from Peru, Best Casino Games to Meet the Opposite Sex, or Top Drupal Modules. Community members can add items to the list and vote up and down on items. Now spammers listen up carefully! For each item links can be added. These links are not nofollow links at the time I write this post.

Okay, back to Drupal. As already mentioned there is a list for the best Drupal modules. The current top 10 are CCK, Phptemplate Theme Engine, Views, Tinymce, Feedback, Simplenews, Image, Control Panel, Ajax Form Builder, and Printer Friendly Pages. Except for CCK and Views these modules are not on my personal top 10 list.

Nonetheless this is an interesting new playground for people with black, white, blue, gray, other, or no hats. Moreover, it is easy to integrate lists on your own website as you can see here. Have fun adding lists, items, links and voting!

I just noticed that voting within the integrated UnSpun list does not work in IE6 because of a JavaScript error. C'mon Amazon developers don't you know how to tame IE6 or are you paid so bad, that you don't want to bother with M$'s high tech browser?
