I am sure this is true, though linkbait genius John Chow doesn't rank for make money online on Google any more. Even when searching for John Chow his site doesn't show up on the first result page, I haven't looked at the second.

I read his blog earlier this year for a few weeks, and I think it's somehow surprising that Google took so long to ban his site, maybe his AdSense revenue was so high that Google was afraid of loosing too much money.

A few weeks ago I noticed a new German blog called Probloggerworld. The author mainly writes posts about blogging, monetizing websites, boosting traffic, and similar topics. Many of the posts have titles like Howto do ... or asking questions like Can you boost your traffic by ... (in German of course).

John Chow runs a very successful blog about how to make money on the internet. One of the reasons for his success is that he is a linkbaiting expert. A very smart technique he makes use of is running contests, that you can enter by linking back to his blog using certain keyphrases as anchor text.
