Ecologically Sustainable Search

Today I stumbled upon blackgoogle.com. I was looking for an alternative to Google anyway, so I may start with this one.

Yahoo lists XML Sitemap in SERPs
Posted: Sun 05/20/2007 by ramiroLooking at the logs of a Drupal site I just noticed that Yahoo lists XML Sitemaps in SERPs. On that site the XML Sitemap Drupal module is installed, which automatically generates an XML Sitemap from your content and if you wish also includes the category pages. There are some other quite useful configuration options the module offers and it can be set to write log messages in Drupal's watchdog table.
Is this the Future of Web Search?

Search Engine Decoder
Posted: Sun 10/22/2006 by ramiroThe Search Engine Decoder is a tool that displays the relationships of various major search engines. Use this tool to see which search engine supplies and receives its primary and secondary search results, directory search results and paid results to and from which other search engines.
You can also display ownership relations and the Nielsen Netratings (percentage of all web searches) for each search engine.
