If you don't know what CMS are about, read the short explanation below.

A CMS is a software for creating and managing content collaboratively. Some CMS are Web based applications which are also referred as Web Content Managment Systems (WCMS) and are used for managing websites and web content. WCMS are especially popular because they facilitate the creation of websites — at least they should. Usually there is a front-end used to display the content and a separate back-end for management tasks.

To enable collaboration of multiple users, CMS usually offer functionality for managing groups and users. Most modern CMS applications are built on a modular architecture to allow for integration of new features (extensibility) without affecting the core system.

Some popular examples of open source WCMS are: Drupal (used to run SEO-Expert-Blog.com), TYPO3, and Joomla.
