David Lynch Bashes the iPhone

The famous movie director David Lynch advises to get real and not watch movies on your fucking telephone. He surely not only bashes the iPhone here but any mobile device with a small screen that can be used to play back video.

From a visual artist's point of it's comprehensible to not promote watching movies, clips, etc. on iPhone, iPod and whatever these devices are named. Anyway, for listening to music, making phone calls or exchanging messages a smart phone like the iPhone is a useful gadget.

So if you want to win an iPhone — of course not to watch movies — take the chance until January 10, 2008 on the I make money on facebook blog and take part in Lara's contest.

Yeah, but I wouldn't say he bashes mobile phones. This is more about marketeers who want people to watch movies on mobile devices. But it won't work, because mobile films are often more expensive than real dvds and lower quality and not the same experience. Movies on Playstation Portable have already failed.
